- Artisan silk The olvie green silk is an elaborate damask weave with large raised chrysanthemums woven in silver and gold metallic threads (urushi) with a highlights in rust, beige and green. The silk for each vintage kimono was woven just for that one garment, each a unique, artistic expression.
- Universal sizing The design of a traditional kimono goes back many, many centuries yet it remains modern and versatile today for its amazingly versatilty. The straight seams and dropped shoulders accommodate all genders and most body sizes. The distance between shoulder seams on this garment is 25 inches and the length is 43.5 inches.
