Refund policy

If you want to return or exchange your order for whatever reason, we're here to help! We offer store credit, or exchange within 30 days after receiving your item. Please read and follow the guidelines below. 

We want you to be delighted with your purchase from Kiku Refashion.  All our items are vintage Japanese silks and they may have age or use flaws.  We have carefully selected these one of a kind silks and believe that they are in good wearable condition.  We have done our best to accurately describe the vintage condition of each item.  If you are not completely satisfied,  you may return the item to us within 30 days of receipt for store credit or  exchange.  Your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn , with tags, and in its original packaging.

How do I return an item?

To start a return, you can contact us at info@kikurefashion.com to let us know you'd like to make a return. Please include:

  • Your order #, receipt, SKU number, or proof of purchase
  • Email address used to place the order 
  • Details of what item you'd like to return

We’ll respond with full instructions within 48-72 hours on business days. 

You will be responsible for the cost of the return postage; however, if you include proof of this postage cost in your return package, we will add this amount to your store credit.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted as a return/exchange.

Will my items be inspected?

Yes. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. We carefully inspect all items, so please be careful when trying on items. If the item(s) is not in its original condition, you will be responsible for loss in value and not eligible for a refund. Upon request, the items will be shipped back to you at your cost.

If approved, you’ll be automatically given store credit unless you have given instructions for an exchange. 

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is not as described, or if you received the wrong item so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

  • Final sale items which are non-returnable/non-refundable/non-exchangeable
  • Special promotion/flash sale items
  • Items not in original condition(i.e., pet hair, make-up stains, food, etc) 
  • Items that have been washed and/or worn or damaged
  • Gift Cards

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to make a separate purchase for the new item and return the item you have. When you contact us to start your return, notify us of your old and new order numbers, and we will waive your return label fee. 

How long do I have to ship my return/exchange back to you?

Please mail the package within 7 days of receipt of instructions to be eligible for a full refund/exchange.

It’s been more than 30 days. Can I still return/exchange my item?

We do not accept returns outside of our 30-day window Return/Exchange Policy outlined above. Kiku is a small business and does not have the sales volume to absorb the costs of wardrobing/wear and return fraud.
