Smithsonian craft 2 wear

Washington, D.C

September 25-27, 2026

Kiku is honored to have been selected to participate a second year in the  Craft 2 Wear show held at the Smithsonian Art & Industries Building.  This is a juried event where only 80 vendors are selected, based on the quality, creativity and uniqueness of the Art to Wear items.   It is a charitable event with 20% of sales going to support the invaluable work of the Smithsonian Institute.   Kiku will be joining other amazing vendors who offer one of a kind hats, jewelry, dresses, belts, scarves and more.  Experienced shoppers know to wear leggings and a simple top in order to try on clothing without the benefit of a dressing room.  If you have any friends in the DC area, please let them know that Kiku will be presenting during  this three day event.

October mult-vendor pop up

The gardens at 31 Legare Street are the perfect setting for multiple vendors to showcae their wares. We will have vintage designer bags by ReFaire Luxury, candies by ToffeeSmyth, sweet grass by Ms Ida, cut flowers by Laura Waring Gruber and more. And of course the Kiku Studios will be open and full of one of a kind Japanese silks. More information to follow.
