Urushi is the Japanese art of weaving, using lacquered coated metallic threads. The beautiful blue haori jacket has gold and silver urushi woven kiku or chrysanthemums. It is a one of a kind, wearable art with a T-shaped design that fits most all sizes, men and women. It is a high ranking kimono with mon or family crest on the back. The vintage condition is good with an inconspicuous flaw near the front left shoulder seam and near the mon. The length is 32 inches long and the width between shoulder seams is 27 inches
