• Artisan Silks Meisen silk became the rage around 1920's with its bold, modern designs and its durable silk construction, using the newly acquired Western techniques for strengthening short silk strands.  Amazingly, the threads are dyed before they are woven, resulting in slightly fuzzy lines.  
  
• Universal Sizing   The jacket is a long 34.5 inches with 23.5 inches between the shoulder seams and 24 inches from the back seam to the sleeve hem
  
• Vintage Condition   The vintage condition is very good except for some pinholes and discoloration on a sleeve.
• Reversible   The lining is an artful, hand painted silk with silver and pink leaves.  The jacket transforms into a completely new garment when worn inside out.
