Description
This haori silk kimono jacket is a one of a kind, master piece.  The quality of the shibori is unsurpassed.  A month or more was spent hand tying the many thousands of knots involved in creating a dye resistant design.  The precision of this time-consuming process resulted in a complex design that is perfectly matched at the back seam.  The hand painted lining is so beautiful that the jacket can be worn inside out, giving the jacket two completely different looks.  In today's throw away societies, this level of time and attention to timeless quality can no longer be found.  The vintage condition is excellent, the length is 29 inches and the width between shoulder seams is 26 inches.
