Pink silk sash obiage scarf-shibori flowers

Vintage obiage sashes make very useful fashion accessories that can be worn around the waist, around the neck or around the head.  An obiage is worn under the obi, and even though they are hidden from view, considerable time and skill is devoted to making them functional art.  The shibori design on this scarf required  hundreds of hand tied knots.  The soft pink scarf is in excellent vintage condition and measures  7 inches by 54 inches
