Pale Pink Kimono Silk Caftan Top-Embroidery

This one of a kind caftan tunic has the most exquisite hand embroidery, surrounded by hand sewn gold braid.  The silk was decorated by a master whose skills will not be seen again. 

• Artisan Silks   Made from two separate kimono, the center panel is from a high ranking furisode, a formal kimono worn by an unmarried girl, designed to attract attention.  The sleeves are from a soft juban underrobe, patterned with woven bells and ribbons and scattered shibori flowers. 
• Universal Sizing.   The length is 26 inches long and measures 44" wide at the bust. 
• Vintage Condition  The silks are in excellent condition.
