This traditional silk furisode kimono features an elegant and intricate design, and was made to be worn by an unmarried woman for special, formal occasions---the equivalent of a western ball gown. . The hand-painted yuzen technique is highlighted by delicate gold accents, creating a truly stunning work of art. In excellent vintage condition, this kimono measures 44 inches in length and 26 inches between the shoulder seams.
