Key Features

• Artisan silk  This kimono duster is made from a white damask weave fine silk that has large woven Kikus, or chrysanthemums.  Using multiple dyeings, some of the white woven kikus have been dyed orange and some yellow.  The woven design catches the light to create a wearable art piece.
• Furisode kimono  This was a vintage furisode kimono that was made for a young, unmarried woman.  It had long sleeves down to her knees that would sway and undulate.  The flowing design and the  bright colors made certain that the woman who wore it would not go unnoticed 
• Universal sizing  The ancient Japanese design is a wonder of efficiency.  The T shape with the wide dropped shoulders could be worn by large bodies and small and originally both genders wore the same style.  The distance between shoulder seams is 27 inches and the length in 44 inches long. 
• Vintage condition   The condition of the vintage piece is excellent with no visible flaws inside or out.
